As Epson, Canon, Hewlett Packard, Dell, Lexmark, Brother, Samsung and the like release new printers it can be difficult to keep ink cartridge compatibility lists up to date. We’ve recently been updating the descriptions of our current range of ink cartridges to improve the search facility for SVP customers.

Remember, if you are unsure which cartridge to buy for your printer, try inputting the printer model number into the search bar at the top of each SVP page. For example,

• if you own a Canon Pixma ip4000 printer, search for ip4000
• If you own an HP Deskjet 950c printer, search for 950c
• If you own an Epson Stylus Photo R265 printer, search for r265

In the case of compatible cartridges, we also now aim to list the equivalent manufacturer’s product number as part of the product description, so…

• If your Canon printer uses a black PGI-5BK ink cartridge, search for PGI-5BK
• If your Hewlett Packard printer uses a HP28 ink cartridge, search for HP28
• If your Epson printer uses a T0801 ink cartridge, search for T0801

You will hopefully now find the relevant cartridges for the search that you performed. If there are no cartridges listed then the chances are that we don’t currently stock cartridges that are compatible with your printer. If you have any queries feel free to drop us an email at sales@svp.co.uk
