June 10th, 2008
This new product from Edge10 is a duplicator for USB flash drives. It has a couple of uses you might not have thought of.
To kick off, here’s a review from the first customer to buy one:

USB Duplicator
This is a great unit. I work on a talking newspaper for the blind and we have just gone over to producing our recordings on USB Pen Drives. This unit has greatly increased the speed of production.
It is also very easy to operate there is no technical knowledge needed. Just load it up and press OK. It’s that simple.
If you don’t know about talking newspapers, you can read a little bit here. If you keep an eye on the bargain sales (like our Wild Wednesdays) it’s possible to pick up USB MP3 players very cheaply these days.
I know of another business that has abandoned the printing of paper data sheets for their seminars. Now,
they simply buy a very large number of USB flash drives (they’ve been delighted with Verbatim and Kingston drives) and copy the data sheets onto the pen drives to give to their seminar visitors. The data supplied is always copied from a compilation of the latest data and the recipients can update their copies of the data sheets on their own. Giving away a USB flash drive is also perceived to be a premium way to provide a service.
The duplicator copies one master to up to seven slaves at one time. Click to read more buy the USB duplicator. Launch price £445.95 inc VAT.
