This a4Tech mouse comes with a special 22cm wide pad that powers the mouse itself, so the mouse is cable and battery free. The pad powers from your computer's USB socket.
Because the mouse has an optical sensor, you will enjoy smooth, fast movement. Twin scroll wheels and extra buttons allow powerful control of Windows applications.

A1 from A4Tech
An absolutely A1 little piece of kit that really has made all the difference. Got mine from SVP about 6 months ago (with their usual prompt delivery) and the only regret I have is that I didn't find it sooner.
Its still working as well as it did when new despite hours of use every day, 5.5 days a week. The mouse still glides across the mat without any effort at all and is absolutely accurate in its positioning - so much so that it takes a few days to get use to the ease at which it works. Saves significantly on batteries too :)
The mat does not need cleaning and its still in excellent shape despite the hours of punishing use. The mouse has been knocked off the desk onto the floor several times and it still works fine.
Downsides? One one that I can think of which is that is clearly designed for a right hander.
Would I have another one? - absolutely yes :)

Cracking piece of kit!
Have to admit I had my doubts about this but, as I always do, I took the reviews on this site as a guide and, once again, was led in the right direction.
This really is a smashing mouse with lots of excellent features. Got a result in that it's exactly the same size as the mouse that it replaced.
Got an even better result in buying from SVP; guys your prices, service and almost instant delivery never fail to amaze me. Keep it up. :)
Winner all round, 10/10.

Very very good - incredibly light in use - this takes a bit of getting used to.
No batteries to mess with is a big big plus.
Loads of extra functions - can't be bothered with personally but will come in useful for some folks no doubt.
Slight lip on periphery of mat that is a touch hard on wrist - solved this by cutting old thick mouse mat and placing it around the A4Tech mouse mat - I believe A4Tech do these mouse mats with Gel pads - time SVP stocked these OR do the mod I described.
Basically - get one. You'll never look back.

Very good - but problems with supplied driver.
Works instantly when plugged in, no need for any drivers.
Build quality seems fairly good for the money. And is of course battery free, so saves on battery cost/charge time.
A couple of the buttons are a bit awkward to use at times.
Only real downside is the supplied optional driver for programming the extra buttons/wheel - I couldn't get it to work properly. i.e. the horizontal wheel when enabled scrolls vertically or doesn't work at all.
And you can't change the function of the 2x button, event though it lets you change it in the software?
Apart from that, does the job nicely for the money.

Absolutely Superb!
I love this mouse! It is the first wireless mouse I've ever tried that actually works consistently! I've been using it for about a month now & not once has it lost it's connection or sent the cursor darting about all over the screen like most other wireless mice do from time to time. IT HAS JUST WORKED PERFECTLY FROM DAY ONE! I confess I wasn't sure how well it would perform as I'd never heard of the technology involved & most new ideas have a few bugs to begin with but I've seen no evidence of that at all with this product. It is simply amazing & I think everyone should have one!

Well Pleased
After having so much grief with wireless mice in the past( and I've had a few ) mainly due to the batteries running out, I am really pleased with this, it works a treat and i don't have to worry about having spare ones charged.
Why did I not find this sooner:)

A beauty!
I was already using an A4Tech wired mouse so knew it would be good quality and this is the *first* wireless mouse I am enjoying using. No batteries! What a bonus. It is even better than my previous A4Tech mouse having a very positive, good sized scroll wheel and I find the "2x click" button a great help too. (I suffer from arthritis and sometimes have trouble doing the double-click thing.) I have set the "hot button" to open My Computer window which is also a great time saver. Now, I'm only giving this 9/10 because I'm a left-hander so I can't use the side wheel (thumbwheel) easily, but from any right-handers it should deserve the full 10/10. Buy the A4Tech multi-function keyboard along with it [product 5220] and smarten up your whole desk!
