These Bulkpaq discs have a bright orange top surface, branded with the Bulkpaq logo at the top of the disc.
In common with other double layer discs, these discs have a data capacity of 8.5GB which equates to 240 minutes of video in standard play mode meaning you can fit even more of your favourite memories and yet still be assured that they are secure and protected.
We always recommend that customers keep the firmware on their DVD writers up to date. This is especially true in the case of double layer media as most reported problems are due to out of date firmware. Click here for our guide to firmware upgrading.

Christmas Decorations!
I'm using an Optiarc AD-7540A drive with these
discs and have so far been able to burn one
successful one and create a huge pile of
Christmas decorations/coasters with the rest.

Bad batch ?!
I have bought plenty of these in the past as they have worked
flawlessly. The recent batch I had though, at least half of them
failed at the layer changed. The ones that worked work great but
it's very annoying having to use 3/4 disks for 1 burn!

Xbox360 Backups - Cannot Burn ISO's
I bought these to try as the usual TuffDisc DVD+R DLs I previously used seem to have disappeared from market !
So far I have created 5 coasters out of 5 attempts to burn ISO's using CloneCD. Not at all impressed !

More Hit Than Miss - But Is That Good Enough??
I don't know what it is about dual layer discs, but finding good quality with reliability to match seems to be a problem. Having said that, I mostly agree with Andrew O.'s review, albeit I'd not mark them so highly - as coasters (at this price) are not so forgiveable. Nonetheless, running a Benq DW1650 with BCHC f/w, the Nero DVD Speed disc quality scans on those which do burn with success are... surprisingly good:
-
PI Errors - avg 3 Max 17 Total 70522. PI Failures Avg 0.04 Max 14 Total 7478. Jitter 8.4% Max 11.6 P.O Failures 0
Overall Quality Score 94/100
-
Lastly mine were marked "CMC Mag D03" - not D04 or D02 as stated. And it has to be said, were it not for the appearance of coasters from time to time, these would be very good discs. Alas, as the quality is at best more hit than miss, I rate them 6/10. Hope my review was helpful

Pretty good for the price, but not perfect.
After getting fed up of paying silly Verbatim prices (and difficulty of finding stock) for my 360 backups, I decided to give the cheaper Bulkpaqs a shot, and bought 6 cakeboxes (150 discs).
For the most part, they are excellent. Verified burns work very well on both BenQ and Hitachi 47D 360 drives, and they burn at up to 8x, NOT the 2.4x printed on the disc, so that's a nice plus.
However, expect a few coasters in each spindle. I have burned approximately 50 discs so far on my LG HL-DT-ST-H55N burner with latest firmware, and 8 discs failed on verify.
42/50 aint bad though! Even if you count out the non-verifying discs, these are still MUCH cheaper than verbatims (works out, on average, around 21 working BP discs for the price of 10 VB's), and the discs that DO verify work great.
If you can stomach throwing the odd bad disc away, then I'd recommend checking these out when they come back into stock. I know I'll be buying more of them when I finally get around to burning the other 100!

VERY VERY VERY DISSAPOINTED!!
In the past I have always bought bulq-pak. Fantastic value and movie wise I cant remember a single coaster. But how well does the media work on an XBOX360. I had a stand-off with my brother.. He backed verbatum and I backed Bulk-Paq. I lost. Not a single working DVD and Verbatum worked every time. So they aint perfect. My score reflects this.

Excellent!
After having some problems with the latest batch of Zero Defex I
opted for these based on 2 reasons: 1) Price, 2) The dye used.
Every disc so far has burnt, verified & worked 100%
Burnt using Pioneer DVR-111D, Firmware v1.29
