I wish I'd never bothered
I bought one of these, first impressions were excellent, but within a couple of weeks I'd gained a "bad" pixel. It sometimes sits there just off centre of my screen screaming for attention, if I'm really luck it even flashes and changes colour. SVP's helpdesk offered some advice about trying to clear / shift it, which didn't help. Recently it's been joined by a mate that just sits there, off colour, depending on what colour it is meant to be.
Sorry, but I'm not happy at all.

Fantastic
Upgraded from a 15" Dell LCD, what a difference. Set up in a minute, fantastic picture, great for photo and video work. No dead pixels, am now considering buying another for use as a TV (with appropriate box, unfortunately SVP don't sell these though). Another great product at a great price from SVP.

A great value LCD monitor
My monitor arrived along with what seems to be the obligatory dead pixel. A dream to set up, plugged in the 3 cables turned it on and then fired up the PC and changed the windows display setting and that was it. Great clear picture and superb colours. 19inch makes such a difference after my tiny monitor. The D.P. I did not notice at first until messed with my photos and black backgrounds. It's a 1mm above the windows Start button on the status bar so not obtrusive at all. I tapped gently and it dissapeared until I turned the monitor on again. It seems to have gone this morning though. Anyway no problem, not sure I could live with one in a prominant place but I am sure SVP would sort it out, so don't be put off buying one. I am pleased with mine especially for the price, time will tell how long they will last but for now, thanks SVP. Jeff

Nice monitor, good on linux too.
Nice one SVP, arrived next day as usual. Easy to set up with Linux. Just set refresh at 60Hz and res to 1024 x 768 before you try it. Super results when set to Apple Cinema Display 20" Widescreen (Digital) in YAST.
Fantastic value for money

A little disappointing
I bought this monitor and at first I was quite impressed. However within two weeks it had developed a "bad" pixel that was just off the centre of the monitor. I tend to have a plain black wallpaper and it tended to show up as a bright red pixel, sometimes varying in colour and intensity. After reading Tony from Pickering's review and reading about SVP's positive action I contacted them, to be told, "The only thing I can recommend is using the stuck pixel fixer to try to sort the pixel out from flashing randomly. You can find some information on this here http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Stuck-Pixel-on-an-LCD-Monitor" I tried all of the steps mentioned, including using some software to try and shift the offending pixel, alas it is still there.
I can't help but feel a little cheated, I know some many defective pixels are deemed acceptable, but in the course of my job as IT Support at a FE college I've hardly ever seen a defective pixel in the hundreds of TFT monitors I've seen.
A nice monitor if you're lucky enough to get one that's up to the job.

What a service plus a superb monitor
The first monitor received had 2 lit pixels (1 white & 1 red), I thought I could put up with them but the red one was annoying. I contacted SVP who told me to return it and another would be sent. I contacted SVP again informing them this would leave me without a monitor for my computer and they agreed to arrange an exchange with the courier, they also kept me updated concerning delivery which was bang on target and as usual with SVP...speedy. The replacement monitor had no dead or lit pixels and the monitor is well... BRILLIANT. It's easy to tweak the settings should you wish but gives a super picture straight out the box. The monitor itself is pleasing to look at and only very slightly let down by the stand but at this price I guarantee you will not find a better monitor nor at a more substantial price come to that!
I have bought quite a few items from SVP and this was my biggest single purchase, rest assured I WILL be using them again.

Money well spent
I would have to say that across the board it is an excellent buy and more than exceeds my expectations. My only gripe would have be the stand is very restricting in that it does not swivel and has minimal tilt.

FANTASTIC
This monitor is great for games or video editing. The quality for the price excellent and very well made. Until you adjust the settings very bright to the eyes but when set up correctly briliant piece of kit. Pity they dont do a larger monitor. 12 out of 10
