Inkjet printable discs such as these enable you to add your own designs to the
top surface with affordable machines such as the Epson R220 and R300 inkjet
printers. Combine that with the ability of double-layer discs to hold nearly as
much data as a commercially-pressed DVD and you have the ability to create
high-spec movie and data discs.
In common with other double layer discs,
these discs have a data capacity of 8.5GB which equates to 240 minutes of video
in standard play mode meaning you can fit even more of your favourite memories
and yet still be assured that they are secure and protected.

We always recommend that customers keep the firmware on their DVD writers up
to date. This is especially true in the case of double layer media as a large
number reported problems we receive are due to out of date firmware. Click here for our guide to
firmware upgrading.
Please Note: Some writers don't fully support burning to
this media at 8x. Pioneer writers have a known speed issue.

DL media and the 360
These disks work perfectly on the 360 burnt with a trusty Pioneer 110 @2.4 speed.
A few notes when using DL media to back up discs for use on the 360, the success is how you rip the disk, checking that the iso is fully stealthed etc once you've ripped it, theres more to it than just getting data off the disc, burning media at over 2.4x for a 360 wont work properly so dont bother, the firmware speed in your 360 drive might benefit if it was slowed ie using x5 etc rather than the x12 speed firmware its also quieter and load times are negligable.
If you really have problems getting other DL media to work use the verbatims and if that doesnt work then its how your doing it or a hardware problem on your xbox.
That said my 360 is from the first stock with the MS25 drive which gets stuck sometimes when you open the tray so the drive is well used but it worked great with these disks.
Perhaps try getting the lucky dip discs from here and try what works.
All my backups are made with the samsung moddified with the Kreon firmware using Xbox back up creator then burnt with Imgburn all backups are checked with DVDMulleter that will check thew iso is fully compatible with the firmware in my xbox and correct any issues.
If you dont follow thes steps it might not matter what you use to backup they still wont work.
Hope this helps but these discs work fine for backing up the original games for child proof purposes!!!.
As with all this stuff it's trail and error, I used the datawrite discs before which worked for a while but over time they became useless. using cheap media on the 360 could also degrade the laser and cause issue that werent there before.

Top quality for the price
I have been using these discs since SVP started stocking them - always for the Xbox 360. I the hundreds that I have used I have had only 3-4 fail.
I am convinced that the people who are getting poor results using these discs are not using them or their system correctly for burning them.
I have always used Pioneer drives, from the 109/110/112 and now im on the 112 - always flawless and i've not had a single 360 console refuse to play them.

Good on PIONEER DVR-215DB 20X DVDRW SATA
I've not had a single failure with this drive and these discs.
I don't print these discs so no comment about that surface quality.
My other drive is a Samsung SH-203-N Firmware:SB01(latest) and they don't work in that. I've had 99% failures in this drive with dual layer media though, so may just be a duff drive.

The waste of money
I bought these back last year, and was quite impressed with them, bought them recently and every one has failed in a pioneer 111D with the latest firmware, don't know with they have changed the die or anythink but would not to use again
But luckily SVP is sorting it out for me with replacements of a different brand

Another waste of money
Bought these as well as the pidata ones and have just wasted my money as i have had no joy from any of the disks i have tried to burn. 15 of each burned and 15 coasters each 100% failure. Very dissapointed in svp this time as they do not have good ones in stock.
