Excellent Budget Disc
I have used these discs exclusively for the last 2 years or more. Solid reliable burns every time, maybe 1 or 2 coasters per 200 discs or so, usually the last disc in the cakebox.
I burn mainly DVD copies, would recommend for this use, but check your DVD player/recorder likes this type of disc.

Mixed results
Bought two cakeboxes in July 2007.
The first cakebox was excellent except for very minor scuff marks on the first couple of discs (which is normal with media in cakeboxes).
The second cakebox was very poor, and I consider it unusable.
Problems seen with a number of 16/18/20x DVD burners using up-to-date firmware:
* Burned discs are difficult or impossible to read past approx. 3.5 GB, a few having problems past 2.5 GB. Confirmed with Disc Quality scans.
I detected severe bonding problems by easily prying the two polycarbonate layers of the disc apart by simply inserting a fingernail at the outer edge of the disc, and without effort the disc came apart. I did this with four discs from the same 50pc cakebox. Other DVD media I have tried and even discs from the first 50pc cakebox of the Datasafe Branded (8x) DVD+R do not have such bonding problems and do not separate when handled in this way.
Bad bonding not only means that the disc can separate easily into separate parts, but also that the dye inside the disc will be oxydized by air seeping in, which will seriously shorten the lifespan of the disc.
Due to this variation, you could be lucky and get excellent discs, or you could be unlucky and get poor/unusable discs. I can't recommend these.

Best Discs Ever!
I have tried every dye type & these are without a doubt the best ever, I am a semi pro photographer & burn lots of DVD's of my photos, I burn these on my Pioneer 109 & as a precaution I always run the burnt DVD through "KProbe" on my LiteON DVD drive, anyone who knows about KProbe results will know that lowest is better, well I was getting around a PI of 150-200 using all other discs, Taiyo Yuden was around the 50-60 mark, these discs with the CMCMagE01 dye are superb, im constantly seeing PI results of 8-11 max! playback in other computers is perfect.
If you want a top quality disc & have a similar setup to me, this is a great disc to buy, it might not be so stunning on other makes of burners, but with a Pioneer 109 its fantastic!!
The other thing I like about this disc is the dye type doesnt change from one spindle to the next, the previous review by "Nicholas Soucek" (another Nick), wasnt quite acurate, these discs have always been CMCMagE01, the ones that are different are the Datasafe DVD-R, the -R seems to have all different types of dyes, TTG01, TTH02 etc.. these have variable results, these +R discs seem to be staying with the CMCMagE01, which I hope they do as its a great dye, beating Taiyo Yuden!
This new batch is even better than the last lot, seems that they have managed to up the quality further.
I hope that everyone else that purchases these discs get as good results as I have.

Dissapointing
I have been burning DVD discs since it has been affordable, and after having burnt (literally) through 4 DVD burners I have had a bit of practice with various different medias. Datasafe used to provide a safe option for the cheaper discs that I was burning for friends, but with this last batch that I have got through my faith has been shattered.
Datasafe use various dye types, or more specifically it seems that they brand discs from various manufacturers with their own stamp. Generally, this isnt a problem, but halfway through the last batch my new HP DVD840 started to constantly fail. It turns out to be a problem with the media, as my spindle had various dyes on the discs within that same batch... junk dye that my new burner just didnt like.
Instead of Datasafe being the 'Ford' of discs... cheap, and get you where you want just with less style, it seems that under the bonnet someone had slipped in a lawnmower engine.
I now have over 100 useless discs, and from this point on will stick solely to Yuden manufactured discs.
