Datawrite 5-Way Switched Scart Splitter Box
Allows you to connect up to five separate devices to a single Scart socket. Ideal for attaching DVD players, Freeview boxes or consoles to your TV without having to be constantly unplugging cables.

Do you have multiple Scart connectable devices and a TV with only one or two Scart input sockets? Simply plug one or more Scart sockets into the splitter box (using separate leads, not supplied) and connect the box to the TVs Scart input.

This is a switched splitter box meaning that you can switch between each input so you get no signal overlap between devices.

Datawrite branded packaging. The devices themselves have no branding on them.
Cable length: 38cm (approx)

Datawrite 5-Way Switched Scart Splitter Box
Thought ordering this switched version would solve the problems of my SumVision DVD Recorder conflicting with a Freeview Box. However, I find the Freeview Box seems to display okay through the TV, but when the switches are set to display the DVD Recorder I get a very poor display. This can only be solved by removing the SCART connector for the Freeview Box.

I don't think the 5 channels in this unit are suitably isolated. I may well work okay with other devices, but not the hardware I'm using

Poorly made
Avoid, this for me was a £3 lesson in buying cheap hardware. The signals cross over even when only one input is switched on.

Note: This was between an RGB signal from an set-top box and composite signal from a 360. I just tested with 2 RGB signals, focusing on the DTV as shown here:
