Ink dies quick
It maybe cheap but its not the best. In the packet i received only 2 pens out of 5 worked but that did not last long as the nib started to split and the ink just dried up after less than 15 usage.
If you want a good disc marker then i recommend the Stabilo permanent marker, which i hope SVP would stock.

A note about the eraser
Be aware that the eraser works with smooth non-printable DVD surfaces. Don't try to use it on a printable disk or you will just make a horrible mess.
The nibs are thicker on these than on some of the other types. Sometimes this is what you want, sometimes you need to write a lot. Perhaps get more than one brand to cover all eventualities. My finer tip pens alas have no brand name on them but also came from SVP at some time in the past.

Disappointing
Pens start off OK but as another review says the nibs start to fray and become useless - why are there no decent marker pens available?

Messy
These pens have quite thick nibs meaning it's difficult to write any title of length on a disc. I found the nibs split quite easily too. Finally, I found the eraser pen just leaves a big smudge of colour on the disc when you use it. Overall ok but I wouldn't buy them again.

Comfortable
I've bought a few packs of these because the wife keeps nicking them and using them as felt-tips. They're very good CD/DVD markers with a soft but firm tip that writes comfortably and boldly on the discs surface. I've also used them for writing on other plastic surfaces like remote controls and cables, and even the brushed metal surface of one of my patch bays. The eraser pen is decent enough if used in conjunction with a bit of tissue for blotting the smudges. Much better than the other CD markers that are available from this site.
