A thinner version of the strong black plastic case for the storage of CDs or DVDs, these slimline cases allow for storage of more discs than a standard case. Includes a transparent outer sleeve allowing you to insert your own custom-made covers.
The packaging is branded as Datawrite but the cases themselves have no branding on them.

Cheap rubbish is the non offensive way to descbribe
SVP would do well to understand that without customers then
SVP would not exist and yet they continue to sell cheap
rubbish like these, out of my last batch of 150 more than half
had their outer sleeve hanging off when removed from the
box way below poor product. Come on SVP how about some
good quality practical products that actually are worth the
money you charge and worth being a returning customer for!
These items and others like it not to mention the poor
customer service and customer relations lately leave me with
no alternative but tot shop elsewhere. SVP was once a joy to
shop with now it is just a total disgrace and showing the right
way to destroy what was was a great company!

Bad buy
Bought these a while back because the usual slimline cases were out of stock. Wish now I hadn't wasted my money. As stated by Gallant Voyager quite a number were damaged and again they were randomised as to their positioning in the packaging therefore ruling out damage in transit. The welding of the outer sleeve to the case leaves a lot to be desired, on many occasions the weld doesn't hold when placing a cover inside. On a large number of occasions the outer sleeve is cropped short and not parallel the top of the case. To put it bluntly - I will not be buying these again, even if I run out of other cases.

Disappointing
8 of the 50 were damaged on arrival. Mostly at the top of the spine. They were packed in an original Datawrite box and the damaged ones were not all together (so that tends to rule out delivery damage). Some of the boxes were slightly bowed, but still useable. These damaged items increase the price from 11p to 13p. The edges of the plastic outer sleeve were not cleanly cut either. I have not bought budget boxes before, and have only Phillips retail slim boxes (that you get when you buy their +RWs) to compare them with, and they are much better quality.
Perhaps these are OK for discs you are shelving, but not really suitable for discs you use to record from your DVD recorder, where you would be using the boxes frequently?
Perhaps I was just unlucky, as the other reviewer here didn't have a single damaged box.

Good value
Good value cases, fairly sturdy, none broken on arrival.
