Datawrite inform us that this disc is one of the toughest discs they've ever made. This claim is backed up by several pieces of technology.
1) The dye is a of a high quality which means that all hardware will be able to make good quality, long lasting recordings of video/data/music.
2) Datawrite have paid particular attention to the quality of the polycarbonate layer (the middle section of the disc). This will improve the discs long term performance.
3) The top of the disc is protected by the titanium coloured top surface.

First class
Had no problem with these discs, better than most that i have used.
Might be the problem that other user have had is software or there player.
If there are any issues SVP will normally sort them out whithout fuss.
Would recommend.

Worst I have ever bought
These are the worst discs I have bought in the last 15 years, with many failures. I thought I must have a duff batch and judging by some of the comments here I am not the only one to suffer these problems.
The problem is lack of quality control from Datawrite. The failed discs all have faults visible to the naked eye: patches of dye missing, scuffs, and the dye layer not being concentric with the physical disc.
The discs without any visible problems seem to burn fine, but I have no confidence in them. I expect that it is just a batch problem which the manufacturers will solve in the future, but I will be very cautious about buying more Datawrite/CMC products.

Good quality
One of the best...only a couple of errors but that was due to my PC. 10/10. Pity their DVD's are not so reliable.

Datawrite Titanium cd's
I have had problems with my last batch of 100 with approximately a third of them being faulty. Most had bits of the silver surface missing and some discs were stuck together. I have previously been very happy with the quality of Datawrite Titanium cdr's but will not be purchasing them in future.
This is no reflection on SVP who continue to provide excellent service.

Poor Production & Quality Control. Excellent service from SVP
I've seen the same problems as others - bits of the dye-layer missing or generally "blotchy". However, fair play to SVP I contacted them explaing the situation and they sent me another tub of 100. There was no quibble whatsoever.
Of the 200 CDs I had only about 110 were without faults. About 50% from each tub had a blemish of some sort. All of the "good" CD were excellent - no problems whatsoever.
I hope Datawrite sort out the quality 'cos the discs are good. A comment from SVP on this matter would be nice.....
Until that comment comes to affirm the quality I wouldn't buy these discs again. However, I still continue to buy discs from SVP and recommend them to others 'cos the service and prices are so good.

Visible production error
I bought a spindle of 100 discs and i've thrown away about 5 of them away so far. I can see the missing part on dye layer, so it's not the burner issue but media quality. On the other hand good CD after burning. Very good quality.

Very Good
I've had very few problems with these discs. a few discs in my pack of 100 had black blotches on the recording side but they still wrote fine. had a couple of errors but not bad for the cost. The other comment is the dark surface (actually slightly lighter than the datawrite titanium DVD's) although sounds good on paper and defines the product, it's hard to read the writing on it. I've tried all sorts of colours and blue or purple seem to show up the best.
