Just like it's DVD-R cousins this new version of one of the most popular DVD-R discs in Europe is very very yellow!
The Prodisc R04 dye type that has been used during manufacture of these discs is very new technology, and therefore is not fully compatible with even the latest firmware for some DVD writers. This will affect the maximum writing speeds acheiveable using discs with this dye type until newer firmware is developed which is compatible with Prodisc R04 discs.
We always recommend that customers keep the firmware on their DVD writers up to date. This is especially true in the case of high-speed media as most reported problems are due to out of date firmware. Click here for our guide to firmware upgrading.

I've used these for yonks, with excellent results. However, on two occasions now, I have had entire tubs that will not write - open another tub bought at the same time and they are perfect - very strange!

At 8X best disc I used!
At 16X these peak with errors at the end.
At 8X they are near perfect, much better than they should be, I want more.

Having tried various other media I gave these a go and now will not buy any other they have excellent repoduction quality I use a Pioneer 110d and have NEVER had a disc that has not copied perfectly. Do yourself a favour buy these there may be cheaper ones around but not with this quality.
