restoreing the equilibrium
firstly i need to set the last 2 reviews straight. review 1: it doesnt say it comes with a clover lead and you also said it works fine... how is that grounds for a 2.0 score? this left misleading results on the product page. and as for review #2 ignore it entirely as the comments are irrelevent. it is obvious it doesnt come with a clover lead and what do you need a guide for other laptops for anyway? and if you did its on the bottom of the machine, like every other electrical item in the world (pretty much).
as for my opinion on the product: it works its cheap and comes with lots of different conectors so its handy if you are a techy who is testing laptops or if you are an end user looking to write bad reviews.

Slightly miffed
I wish I had read the previous review as this mains adapter really doesn't come equipped to be plugged into the mains at all! Luckily I had a three pin 'clover' power cord spare from another laptop.
Once fired up it seems to work fine on an old Fujitsu Siemens laptop with 19v setting. There's unfortunately no guide whatsoever as to what voltage is appropriate for different laptops; I just happened to know it's 19.5v for mine.
There's a locking device/clip to stop you accidentally changing the voltage.
It's quite a big beast, but hey, what should I expect for just over 20 quid and 120W? Shame about the power cord.

Requires mains cable, not supplied
Requires a clover type mains cable, which is not supplied, nor do SVP sell them seperately.
Appears to be well made, but better value, with mains cable included, is available elsewhere.
