PiData
Terrific discs!
I churn out hundreds of DVDs and find these to be the most reliable I've used.
RiVisions used to throw up a whole batch of coasters from the duplicator on a regular basis.
The newer version of the PiDisk does throw out the occassional coaster, but nothing to get too fussy about.
The only gripe I have is that SVP have stopped the bulk ordering on a lot of products in their range. And you can bet your breeches; if you need something specific in a hurry...it's going to be out of stock!
On the whole: Good service SVP...from a loyal customer for a long time now.

Man or a Mouse?!
OK! Since my previous review i have binned my old pioneer 112, and installed a pioneer 215. Since updating the writer, these discs have worked flawlessly, not 1 single coaster. I even ordered more! So, please disregard my previous review, and if like myself you are getting coasters with these discs, then please update your writer, there spot on!

PiData - Still the Best
I have to agree with Peter.
I had purchased 3 boxes of 600 previously and i just thought these PiData discs were the best discs in every way - speed, compatability, print surface etc....
The recent reviews did worry me as my stock was low and i had to purchase again.
I went for 400 this time.
I am on the second spindle and so far the quality is every bit as good as the previous PiData discs i have had - not a single coaster from about 75 discs used.(and yes these do have the orange wrappers)

What's all the fuss about?
I bought 100 of these discs a couple of weeks ago and was worried when I received the orange packs as previous comments said that these were very poor. I am coming to to the end of the first cake and have so far not had one coaster. Can't understand why everyone else seems to be having problems with them.
I am using convert x to dvd software and an old LG RW.
I also burn using x8 even though these are x16. (If bmw said you would get 40 miles to the gallon would you believe them?) Better to be on the safe side.
Anyway, no problems for me, I'm very happy with them.

Complete Rubbish
Bought 250 of these discs around 2 weeks ago, and after using 3 cakes of 50 now, all i can say is i might as well bin the remaining 2 cakes. Out of 150 discs used, im pretty sure ive had 70% failure rate! It seens that ive also recieved the crap new batch, the cakes have a paper orange/yellow wrapper. To add injury to insult, SVP did say they would replace the dodgy ones, but since they were already in the bin! BRING BACK STEVE!

Please contact us at sales@svp.co.uk and we will replce your discs if you are not entirely happy.

Have to agree with Iggy
I've been useing these discs for some time, with the writers I have (Liteon, NEC, Pioneer) and since I discovered them never had a problem, hardly any errors, verfied well, even used as "backups" in my sons PS2 written at 8x. It was good news after so many bad experiences with other media (Ritek G05, any CMC discs, Ricoh) and nice to find a disc I didn't have to pay a premium for (Verbatim, TY) but since, as Iggy said, these ran out of stock and have come back with new packaging the quality has gone from great to bad. I shall now take this (farly expensive) leason onboard and only use Verbatim in future as Ritek have allways promised much but in the end let you down by what is (seemingly) bad quality control. Cheap they may be cheerfull they are not.
So Ritek/Pidata, thanks for the good ones, but the last 250 were Cr*p and only worthy of the bin.

Flawless media
Since my favourite media Datawrite Optima Blue went MIA I have been looking for the replacement disc to use, I've tried a few others mainly Ritek ice White but no one compares to this.
I'm using a NEC 7173 which I have to say is a pretyy crappy burner but it have never ever produced a coaster from this media. Always making perfect burn at the highest speed.
This will be my number one choice for a very long time.

Good value for money
Ok Burn on Pioneer 109D max accepted is 12x, pi error only 30 of average, Pif 1 has 2 max, 4488 MB completely excellent for this price. Good surface of goods impression smoothes, center diameter is of 22mm, good impression with my Canon IP8500.
