Pretty poor quality paper, but for the price what do you expect?
Pretty poor quality paper, but for the price what do you expect? Ream packaging badly damaged meaning that the paper is damaged (creased). So therefore paper is not really usable in a printer. Not really worth the bother of a return as it was so cheap...

Average
This paper is about the same price as in other internet shops, so one should expect reasonable paper quality.
I took the advice of another reviewer and ordered a whole box (5 reams) - when it arrived it had been bashed about so much it was literally falling apart at the seams, and the corners of the paper did not come out unscathed, but still usable.
Disappointed with SVP on this occasion.
*** SVP Tech Note *** It sounds like the couriers have not treated this parcel with the care it deserves. Please contact us on sales@svp.co.uk to resolve this.

Great paper
I bought this expecting it to be quite rubbish as it was so cheap, yet the paper is absolutely fine for printing text upon. I have not really tried printing photos/images on it but I suspect it might soak through the paper. So all in all, great paper if you are just wanting to print text.

Good cheap paper - though not ideal for inkjet printers
The batch I received was in red ream wrapping with the branding "High Volume" on the front.
Paper feeding in my Epson R300 was fine; absolutely no problem with misfeeds/picking up more than one sheet at once.
However as with most 80gsm plain paper; it's a little too thin for inkjet printing - the ink tends to soak most of the way through the paper and even plain black text is quite visible from the back.
So, OK for draft printing (where the printer uses less ink) and for applications where the back of the paper won't be seen.
For presentation-quality inkjet printing slightly thicker paper (100gsm) is better - please can SVP consider sourcing some?

Bargaintastic
Surprisingly good quality. The best bit is having 5 reams delivered for a couple of quid instead of having to carry it around town to the car.

Great price for copier paper
This is the cheepest I've found standard copier paper for and as Alan suggested before you are probobly best off buying it in a box of 5 at £10 for 2500 sheets you can't go wrong. Works really well in my OKi laser printers and copier, but I haven't used it in my inkjet I tend to use a heavier weight paper in that.
