This black plastic DVD case for the safe storage of any discs. Similar to the ones used for DVDs in the shops. You can even make your own covers and insert them into the outer transparent sleeve.

Avoid
Poor quality plastic, hinges break easily. Try the 0233's in boxes of 100s. Those are much better.

Terrible Quality
I have ordered these basic cases before and the quality has been OK perhaps 7/10. Usually some are smashed. Ordered my last batch on a special offer at around £6 for 100. Yes it was cheap but still overpriced for these!! I have tried to use about 15 - out of the hundred - they are either broken, don't close properly or when you gently try to insert the cover the polythene starts coming away and is rendered useless. I am now stuck with a box of basically useless cases. They don't work and is a false economy buying them. I would NOT reccommend them to anyone and will NEVER buy them again. You get better at the pound shop!! I will only buy Amarays from now on. These cost 6p each - they aren't worth 1pence. Sorry but rubbish product.

Cheap pieces of crap!!
Ive just recieved my order of 100 cases, 30 of them are broke - mainly shattered to bits. SVP should be ashamed of themselves, im appauled at the amount that are broken, why sell such crap and be able to continue supplying these to your customers.
For all other buyers, stay well clear, pay the extra for something better or use another site. I appreciate the odd ones can break in transit, but 30!? All I can say is dont bother!
*** SVP Note ***
We sell a huge quantity of these but unfortuntately the odds are that some will suffer damage in transit. We don't expect you to take the loss yourself though - please do as the review submission form suggests and email sales@svp.co.uk so we can sort this out for you.

Cheapo DVD Cases
I have just purchased a box of 25 of these, poor quality, ripped, broken, unfastenable dvd cases as a stopgap until the AMRAY cases came back into stock.
Of the 25 cases delivered, 3 were smashed in the delivery package, 5 would not close as the case clasps were broken and 4 had the covers ripped.
My advice do not even attemp to arm yourselves with this rubbish.
Pay the 21p and go for the supremem quality of the AMRAYs.

Hmmmph
Poor quality. The case is quite brittle so fractures easily, the clear jacket is poorly attached and is susceptible to peeling away in the corners, a lot of extra care is required when sliding in inserts.
So, what starts out as a great price transpires to be a false economy when the casualties are accounted for.

Black DVD cases
The build quality reflects the price.
Some of the edges are quite sharp and the moulding process leaves a couple of raised points either side of the spine. The plastic clips that hold the case together can break on opening for the first time. The clear jacket comes away from the case easily when fitting case inserts behind so great care is needed not to damage it.
Not as well finished as the first batch I ordered.

Very pleased
These DVD cases although not as good quality plastic as the types of cases that are used for DVD films bought from the shop, are still perfectly acceptable and practical for storing your DVD films in. What I mean by this is that of the 200 I recently bought, they all:
1) Opened and closed fine.
2) Held the DVD disc firmly in place.
3) Have a transparent plastic outer cover for slipping a box cover in place.
4) None were broken.
Basically these DVD boxes do their job very well, i.e. storing DVD discs inside them. Why on Earth some people above are bemoaning the lower quality plastic is beyond me. If the boxes do their job, then the quality of the plastic is an irrelevant point to make as the highest quality plastic DVD box in the end is going to have exactly the same effect as a lower quality plastic box, i.e. you put a DVD disc in it.
Very satisfied. Thanks

Worth what they cost but no more
As others have said, these are not a quality product - we have to discard 10-15% of them which break on opening. But we'll stick with them as they are so much cheaper and our customers are probably only opening them once when they install our software. But if you want something for your personal DVD collection buy the better alternative.
