Great WebCam
I just got this webcan, mainly dew to the above review and the price.
WOW this webcam is good.
I didn't have any issues with getting it working like the previous reviewer.
Just installed the software from the supplied CD and it just worked!
Picture quality is good, even in low light the picture is clear.
As for the tracking, its just awesome.
you can be chatting on MSN and then get up walk around the room, all the time staying in frame.
At the end of the USB cable splits off a mic jack,
And there's a little blue LED on the front telling you the cam is active.
The cam itself sits on a sturdy rubber pad, with what looks like
a standard Tripod screw hole in the middle.
Ive tried this out with WebcamXp (not supplied), and it also makes a superb IP cam, for remote surveillance.
Overall an extremely good webcam for the money
and the tracking is just COOL.
My only criticism would be that the USB cable could be longer.
but I'm sure it would work just as well with a USB extension lead.
9/10 for the short lead, otherwise would be *10/10*

Once it's up & running great for video chatting!!
Bought the cam & got it running no problem but it didn't move & track motion. After a litle googling I found this FAQ on Sweex's website - http://www.sweex.com/product.asp?pid=599&s=5 and all was good. I use it to chat on skype with my girl friend who is working abroad, saves my phone bill and now if I move about or slouch in my seat she doesnt tell me she cant see me anymore! Plus because it has a mic built in I can use skype or msn video chat just with my pc speakers & this cam.
