Costing half the price of similar offerings from big name brands such as Sony and Pioneer, the Umax Vaova CR-260BT delivers an amazing range of features for a fraction of the cost.

Not only do you get a fully featured slot loading audio CD player that supports both CD-R/RW disks along with a well specified FM tuner supporting RDS, TA/TP and AMS, the CR-260BT also supports MP3 file playback.

However, there are plenty of MP3 CD players on the market already, what makes this one different is that it features both a USB port (for connecting an MP3 player/USB disk with removable disc drive support) and a built in SD/MMC card reader. This means that you have multiple ways to play MP3 files in your car.

The CR-260BT also features integrated bluetooth technology, meaning that you can also attach other bluetooth enabled devices, such as a PDA and use the stereo as a hands-free kit using your car's speakers.

This is a great sounding unit (4 x 40W), especially when paired up with a decent subwoofer. It features a multi coloured VFD display along with an anti-theft fold-down detachable panel.

Great stereo but?
I received this stereo a couple of days ago and fitted it quiet easily, looks are great and so is the sound.The main reason i bought this was for the bluetooth which i am very pleased with, the only reason i am not giving this a 10/10 is the lack of id3 text on the display when playing mp3s :(. I can'y believe this has been left out on a stereo which has everything else and looks the biz.

Does the job well
I picked up one of these with some media on a cheap shipping weekend at SVP. Installation was simple if you've ever done this sort of thing before. The manual was semi useful. The playback is adequate, birdering on good for this price range, and the bluetooth (which is the reason I bought the unit) works well. All in all, very happy with this unit. Lets hope it proves reliable!

Good hansfree and good sound
I've been looking for a good handsfree for a while. The one I had was too quiet and I had to remember to keep the battery charged. This solution workd great for me. When I get a call on the mobile it mutes the music and I can hear the call through the car speakers nice and loud. They seem to be able to hear me nice and clearly too. The stearo itself is fine too and installation was easy. The blyetooth is the importand function of this device for me and it works great, but so does the rest of it so it's top marks from the edinburgh jury :)

just fitted this unit, build quality at first glance seems very good, looks are amazing ! looks like a 500 quid stereo sitting in your dashboard ! it sounds excellent as well better than my kenwood even ! BUT it is not 45w as stated is acually 40w , face is very fiddely to master and mine does not seem to want to give any text on screen whilst playing cd or mp3 file have scanned manual front to back and no mention also when playing mp3 disc you cannot jump to next folder/album can only go next or last track ! i have had to press random and wait correct folder ! i am not sure if the unit is faulty but may well send back for exchange as this is a great pain in the lower back shall we say!!!, bluetooth works ok if anything always seems muffled and quiet though ( unit has external mic to !! )have not tried card or usb yet.i am hoping my unit is at fault so when exchanged is all happy, looks and sound quality are fantastic so would much rather get it sorted then give up n refund it, don't be put, for the money this is a cracker, loadsa preouts for you bassheads to !! rating low but the above sorted would be an easy 8 maybe 9 , losing points for fiddely face panel and small volume control
