PROs:
Cosmetically, looks much better than the pciture.
It is also much smaller than I expected
Has an inbuilt PSU, no external power adaptors like some other brands (won't mention any names) which proved to be problematic.
Quiet operation
Dissipates heat well and has a suitable vented hatch over the hard drive.
Setup is very user-friendly,
Comprehensive handset (batteries supplied).
Has a feature in the setup to name/rename your recordings.
160Gb Hard Drive.
CONs:
This model does not allow you to record two programmes at the sametime, a feature I had expected with twin-tuners.
It does not allow you to watch a previously recorded programme, while it is recording in real-time.
If you are considering buying a Freeview Box with PVR, this one is worth trying. Remember, you have got a 'cooling off' period, and can expect all the support and advice you need with SVP.
