Featuring the high levels of quality that you expect from a Verbatim DVDR, the 8.5GB capacity of these discs is 1.8 times larger than traditional single-layer discs for enabling approximately four hours of video recording at regular DVD quality and with an extremely fast 8x write speed you can write 8.5GB in less than 16 minutes.
The inkjet printable surface of these discs enables you to add your own designs with affordable machines such as the Epson R265 or R300 inkjet printers. The wide printable surface allows you to print right up to the centre hub of the disc, producing extremely professional results.
Advanced AZO technology provides added resistance to UV light for increased protection and reliability, producing high quality picture and sound with more than 100 years archival life.

We always recommend that customers keep the firmware on their DVD writers up to date. This is especially true in the case of double layer media as a large number reported problems we receive are due to out of date firmware. Click here for our guide to firmware upgrading.
Please Note: Some writers don't fully support burning to this media at 8x. Pioneer writers have a known speed issue.

The Best There Is
These Singapore Verbs are the best DL media available and should be the number one choice for 360 backups.
I have burnt hundreds of these with only a few coasters and even they were down to software problems. Anyone getting coasters with these needs to look at their burning regime. Dont have any other programs running and leave them to burn in peace using quality burning software and you will have no problems.

better than i initially thought, burn at 4x or higher!
i left a review earlier regarding these discs, but since then ive burnt several more discs, this time at a higher speed. the errors seem to be a lot lower now. so i would recommend not burning these at 2.4x but at 4x or 8x the errors at 4x are in the same range as the 2.4x verbatim dual layers. nero cd/dvd speed gives them a quality score of 95 which is very good. so if possible please delete my previous review and i will now increase my score to 9 out of 10

Excellent
These discs are the real deal, I have tried +R DL media with Ricoh dye and there is no comparison these are much better.
I've copied both data and video onto these discs and I've have never had a skip or read error. Also the data reads very quickly from the disc onto my hard drive (much quicker than with Ricoh dye discs which seem to struggle a bit).
If you can afford it, go for these you won't regret it.
I will give 9/10 rather than 10/10 only because the finish around the centre circle
of some of my discs isn't 100% neat, but it doesn't affect performance.
I've burnt on a Pioneer 215DBK and an LG writer, both S/ATA and both at 4x with success.
